Pursuant to ARS 15-721. Common schools; course of study; textbooks; definition & ARS 15-722. High schools; course of study; textbooks; definition:Before the approval of any basic textbook for, the governing board shall do the following:

Provide information on the school district's website, if the school district maintains a website, on the basic textbooks that are proposed for approval.

Provide an opportunity for public comment for at least sixty days. Public comments may include written comments, oral comments, and comments submitted through e-mail.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Due to Covid-19 restrictions for public meetings, the Douglas Unified School District changed from general meetings open to the public to online presentations, available to the public.

Public comments regarding the materials offered by these publishers can be made via e-mail to Karla S. Campillo-Soto, at kcampillo@douglasschools.org. All public comments will be submitted to the Office of Curriculum and Instruction.
